Time.com has named Battlestar Galactica’s ‘Revelations’ #6 on their ‘Top 10 TV Episodes of 2008′.
The entire run of this philosophical space saga was about a ragtag tribe of humans looking for the lost Planet Earth. So you might have guessed two things: that they would not find Earth until the last episode of the series, and however they managed to do it, the reveal would inevitably be a letdown. You would be wrong, twice. In this mid-season finale, the crew of the Galactica finds mankind’s ancestral planet after a war that nearly exterminated them, leading to giddy celebration — until they land, and, in an astonishing, wordless closing scene, find the planet to be an irradiated ruin. This sucker-punch of a twist set up two questions for the final run of the series starting in January: Where do they go from here? And where did we go?

Better TV in store come January
By Maureen Ryan
Chicago Tribune – 11/12/08
“Lost” returns Jan. 21 with a two-hour season premiere.
I’m not usually a fan of January, but this year, the wintriest of months is shaping up to be quite eventful, TV-wise. “24″ finally returns Jan. 11, “Battlestar Galactica” begins airing its final batch of episodes Jan. 16, “Burn Notice” returns Jan. 22 and “Damages” also returns sometime during that month. And that’s to say nothing of all the TV hoopla that will surround the Inauguration on Jan. 20.
I’ve been saying it for a while now: This year, the middle of the TV season—January especially—promises to be quite a bit more interesting than the rather lackluster fall.

Tricia Helfer has been named #2 on UGO’s list of the 50 Hottest Women on TV.
… coming in at number two on our list of the sexiest women in television is Tricia Helfer, who started her career when she was discovered by an agent while standing in line. That’s right, just standing there.
Now, two things immediately come to mind. Firstly, we’ve seen lots of girls standing around, and absolutely none of them look like Tricia Helfer. And secondly, we’re moving to Canada, the home country of both Lilly and Helfer, because apparently every street corner is chock full of unbelievably sexy, loitering women.
Nowadays, of course, Helfer is doing more than hanging out; she’s appearing as Number Six on Battlestar Galactica, which gives us the mind bending question “which version of Helfer is hottest?” Unless you have access to Canada’s free mental health care, though, don’t think on this for long.
