Battlestar Galactica alum Tricia Helfer has landed a recurring role on
NBC’s upcoming drama The Firm.

“Just signed a recurring role ‘Alex Clark’ in NBC’s ‘The Firm’ airing
this winter,” Helfter tweeted. “Will be working with some amazing
talent – very excited!”

Based on John Grisham’s novel, the series takes place 10 years after
the events of the 1993 film with Josh Lucas playingTom Cruise’s role
of attorney Mitch McDeere, who starts a new life in Washington, D.C.

Helfer’s character is a senior partner at Kinross & Clark, which
brings Mitch in as a partner, according to TVLine.

Molly Parker joins The Firm

The cast also includes Molly Parker, Juliette Lewis and Helfer’s BSG
co-star Callum Keith Rennie.

The Firm is scheduled to premiere midseason.

Tricia speaks to TV Guide in the Feb. 28th issue about her upcoming appearance on No Ordinary Family and about reuniting with Battlestar Galactica costar Lucy Lawless.

“In Battlestar we were more equals, but in this show, she’s by boss. It was kind of fun for Lucy to be very mean and controlling.”
